Who We Are
A myriad of developers and skillsets has afforded Strange
Scaffold flexibility
that other studios don’t have – to swiftly reposition
our experienced and focused creators
onto different projects, depending on capacity,
dependencies, and priorities.
Team members have worked on
hundreds of projects between them, from
personal projects, contract work, and time in independent
studios, right through to some of the biggest IPs and AAA
development – amounting to capability and capacity well
beyond most teams.
Key collaborators sit across multiple projects –
managing trailer creation, key art, audio, and QA, allowing
them to
operate within key pivot points across all
our projects at a high quality level, while minimizing ongoing
costs and execution.
All of this is done via
consistent and responsive planning by the
creative director, the production team, marketing &
operations.
Meet our Creative Director
Xalavier Nelson Jr. is a BAFTA-nominated studio head,
narrative director, and writer, with dozens of titles under
his belt including Stranger Things VR, Magic: The Gathering,
Hypnospace Outlaw, Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator, and
El Paso, Elsewhere. He also makes strides in a storytelling
career outside of games, with releases such as the cult hit
comic Sherlock Holmes Hunts the Moth Man.
